- Before paying in full or by deposit for your requested service you could not proceed unless agreeing you have read our terms and conditions, confirming this, identifies you agree Beauty Call has done all that is possible to make you aware of the outlined terms and conditions.
For the purpose of the relationship between the client and Beauty Call the client acknowledges, accepts and agrees that Beauty Call Ltd is the supplier of the services which shall be strictly and exclusively governed by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions apply to every offer, quotation, acceptance, and purchase order, confirmation order, specification and/or contract for the sale and supply of services or goods (including services ancillary thereto) by Beauty Call.
Language
Beauty Call LTD shall hereafter be referred to as: “Agency”
Artists: Refers to any member of the Agency’s freelance team whether it be make-up artist, assistant, hairstylist, or any person performing a task for which we offer services that are available to be requested.
Client: Is any person that has requested, and/or confirmed, paid in part or full any service we make available to be provided.
TERMS AND CONDITIONS
Services
If your hair is longer than what was booked and paid for, you will be asked to pay the difference on the day in New Zealand dollars – no EFTPOS available.
If you should a request a service change on the day and the cost for the new service is dearer than what was originally requested you will be asked to pay the difference directly to our Artist in New Zealand dollars, if the service change is cheaper than originally requested, no difference of balance will be refunded back to you.
The Artist’s reserve the right to inform you the requested changes are not possible if due to having other client services to provide.
If you should be 10 minutes late for your schedules appointment, the Artists reserves the right to inform you the requested service may now not be possible due to other bookings. If there is no time to perform the service at all no refunds will be applicable.
The Artist reserves the right to be up to ½ hour late for the scheduled appointment, if this should happen they shall call you to explain what time their arrival will be, the requested service will still be provided in full.
Any time a clip is placed into the hair of any sort this is classified as a hair up.
Payment
There are two payment options available to you.
On line bank deposit
By choosing this method you are paying on line into the Agency’s bank account directly
All service prices are based on New Zealand Dollars, if you are paying on line direct through an outside New Zealand bank all associated costs and foreign exchange values must equate to the value of the service in New Zealand Dollars.
A booking/handling fee of 3.9% is added to all services prices.
Confirmation of your appointment is accepted only when payment has been received.
Paying by Pay Pal
By paying in this method it is agreed you accept the above conditions and a 3.9% handling fee will be added to your overall service price.
To confirm your appointment all services must be paid at time booking.
Cancellations and/or refunds
For Standard bookings
Outside 21 days
If a requested service has been booked and paid for, a full refund, excluding booking/handling fee of 3.9% and any other associated bank charges will be provided and returned to your nominated bank account. The amount payable shall equal and be the same as the service quoted in New Zealand dollars.
20 days or under
As our Artists are freelance their requested work for services is placed well in advance and it is more than likely they would have turned down work to accept your original service request, and booking.
For this reason we cannot offer refunds of any value for any circumstance.
All days are based on New Zealand time (a day commences at 12.01 a.m. and finishes at 11.59 p.m.)
All cancelations are only to be advised by e mail to info@beautycall.co.nz or phone. All cancelations will only be accepted on when notice is received not when notice was provided.
All days are based on a New Zealand Day, Date, Calendar month. If you are canceling a booking made outside of New Zealand please be aware of any time differences to us and your own time zone both by hours and days.
By not showing up for a confirmed scheduled appointment you accept no refund is applicable.
Cancelations for Weddings
A pre-wedding trial is considered standard booking and cancellation policies are as above.
Weddings
If the original service request is made outside of 8 weeks before the wedding date of services required the deposit of 30% shall be refundable less booking and handling fee of 3.9%
If a confirmed wedding booking is cancelled within 8 weeks of the wedding date the 30% deposit is NON refundable.
Full payment for wedding services shall be required 14 days prior to wedding date to confirm your services on the day. Any cancelations of any kind from day 14 to actual day of wedding are NON refundable.
By any party of the wedding party booking not showing for a scheduled appointment at all, you accept no refund is applicable.
Cancellation of any appointment due to adverse weather
If weather predicts our Artists cannot get to your scheduled appointment a full refund under the above mentioned cancelation policies will apply for the service/s, only, but will exclude any hotel, air fares or associated costs they may have been pre paid by you.
Rescheduling a booking
The Agency and their Artists will do all we can accommodate you if you require a date change or time change to a confirmed booking however if we cannot be assistance to you and you cannot keep your original scheduled appointment it is accepted no refund is applicable.
Refunds
The agency will do it all it can to get your refund back to you in a timely manner however we reserve the right to take up to 30 days to do this.
Refund on complaint for services
The Agency does not offer refunds for any completed services, if for any reason you are dissatisfied with the services provided you must discuss this directly with your Artists on the day this will allow our Artist/s the right to rectify any concerns at the time they are with you.

Parking, Travel fees or associated expenses.
Once we have confirmed the location of the service you have requested additional associated costs may apply. Beauty Call will liaise with you directly to ascertain what these costs may be; these associated costs may include parking, ferry, taxi, plane, petrol, etc. At all times Beauty Call will do its best to provide a quote of what the additional expenses will be, however it is agreed if anything should present itself that was discussed or quoted for these expenses are to be paid for by the client. For service requests like Waiheke Island a taxi. Or someone to pick our artist up from the terminal shall be required.
Parking
Parking required for services in an area where parking will be required will be paid for by the client to our Artists directly.
Once we have confirmed your location we shall provide a quote so you are aware of what these expenses will be in advance. In some cases we may be able to secure parking from the Hotel and this associated expense may be able to be charged back to your room. If an Artist cannot secure hotel parking they will use parking terminals, or meters. Once our Artists is with you, to ensure they provide the best service possible to you, it is clients responsibility to pay the associated expenses directly to the Artist, assist if required in topping up any metered parking, etc. If an Artist should receive any fines for not having paid extra parking fees required this cost shall be presented to the client and it is agreed it is to be paid by the client to the Artists.
Travel fees/Petrol expenses
For any booked service 15 kilometres outside a Central Business District the Artist/s will be paid directly by the client 50 cents per kilometre after 15 kilometres.
For any booking that involves an area further than 200 kilometres from a Central Business District please email the Agency directly for a agreed fixed quote that will be payable to the artist/s
A CBD area is defined by the main street of a city
I.E Auckland = High Street
Wellington. Lambton Quay
Christchurch: Colombo Street
If the service requested requires our Artist to travel by plane, ferry, ship, taxi, or any other means, and have accommodation, meals provided, these and any other associated costs are to be meet by you the client. To arrange such services please e mail info@beautycall.co.nz to before booking service so we may personalize your request directly with you.
Personal Artist service request
For any service booking made by the client that requested a personal Artist to provide your service for you, if this Artist becomes unavailable for reasons outside of their control, the Agency will replace them with another Artist. Detailed notes are taken for all weddings at the trail period and these will be passed onto the next available stylist.
Artists Liability
The Agencies artists are fully qualified professional freelancers within their own field. Artists provided by the Agency are not employed by us but are self employed freelance professionals, responsible for maintaining public liability insurance and other necessary requirements to practice within their field.
The Agency (and the contractor) reserve the right to terminate the service if the client of a member of the clients party becomes abusive, threatening offensive or violent. For reason of health and safety, we ask that the client and any member of the clients party do not smoke while the service is being performed (this does not prevent the client from organizing a smoking break with the artist it time allows).
The agency is not liable for any loss, damage or injury caused by the contractor when performing the service.
